"Fountain of Wealth (Suntec City)" Singapore Things to Do Tip by Cathy&Gary

Singapore Things to Do: 1,995 reviews and 3,531 photos

The Fountain of Wealth is in the centre of Suntec City and is in the Guiness book of records as the worlds largest fountain.

But this is not just any fountain.

Built at a cost of $6 million Singapore dollars, this huge fountain is supported by four 13.8 metre high bronze legs over an area of 1683 metres, with a huge bronze ring measuring 21metres in diameter!

The perfect circle of the fountain symbolises unending completeness and unity and is based on Feng Shui principles..

The inward flowing water of the fountain symbolises wealth and good luck for the occupiers of the building and visitors..

Water spurts to a height of 30 metres and the 18 metre wide water screen comes alive every night with a laser show.

The bubble jet located at the centre of the fountain is open to the public. The Fountain of Wealth has such positive energy that standing near it and breathing in the "chi" that is emitted and even touching the lucky water can enhance your well being.

For Good Luck walk around the fountain three times in a clockwise direction, while touching the cooling waters.

There are also 70 restaurants and food outlets to choose from around the Fountain Terrace.

Showtime is 8pm to 9pm daily.
The fountain is open daily from;
9am - 12pm
2pm - 6pm
7pm - 7.50pm
9.30pm - 10pm
