Central Kitchen: "Best bar and menu" Cambridge Restaurant Tip by Sandrablondon

Cambridge Restaurants: 100 reviews and 69 photos

Cozy sexy cool atmosphere; easy social bar for one, a group, or a couple. BEST, most informed, kind, service-oriented, unpretentious staff of any restaurant I've ever been. Great wine selection. Succulent and unique seasonal menu. Portions are large, but not American massive, and extremely savory. I split entrees, or just have the mussels or soup for a single meal with a glass of wine and pay around $20.

Favorite Dish: Mussels from Brussels and the Steak.....and I come from cow-country.....but the menu has non surf n turf items to be sure. The soups are phenomenal, and quite the meal on their own....when accompanied with the perfectly textured sourdough bread. There's a raw bar too. Best dessert I've ever had, and I'm not a chocolate freak, the chocolate rice pudding cake w/mode......truly unbelievable flavor and texture.
