John Harvard's: "pub chic w/out the nouveau atmosphere" Cambridge Restaurant Tip by Sandrablondon
Cambridge Restaurants: 100 reviews and 69 photos
Great food, not expensive. If I drank beer I'd probably like the fact that it's a brew pub. Nice old-english pub atmosphere. Every demographic can be found here. Catch the game, or avoid the screens by sitting in the equally ambianced dining area. Cool staff. A winner for any age, any appatite. It's underground in perhaps a wine cave room with lots of dark oak furnishings, wonderful artificially lit stained glass panels, though, but no sunny patio-feeling here. It's a classic I'd say.
Address: off Mt. Auburn
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: On Mt. Auburn from JFK, take a louie after Newbury comics. On the left, down stairs.
