"Jurong Bird Park" Singapore Things to Do Tip by Cathy&Gary

Singapore Things to Do: 1,995 reviews and 3,531 photos

Jurong Bird Park has won numerous awards and is possibly one of the best bird parks in the world.

The park is huge, it is a 20 hectare park with over 9,000 birds and is the largest in the Asia Pacific.

There are four aviaries, among which is the world?s largest walk-in aviary with the tallest man-made waterfall and the bird shows are fantastic!

We used our free passes to the Jurong Bird Park, fantastic place and it had been on my list of things to do for many years.

It?s certainly worth going to but had to have been one of our hottest days there and the climb up the hill was a killer. There were so many people struggling up the hill with prams, much easier to take the monorail!

Food and drinks are pretty pricey and not much choice at all.

We decided to go there by mrt and bus.

The transport system is so easy and cheap to use and there are directions on the bird parks webpage to get there using bus, train, taxi etc plus current admission prices.
