  Mukilteo Lighthouse

Mukilteo is a point in which to take the ferry to Clinton, which is on Whidbey Island. Directly South of the ferry terminal is the state park in which there is a rocky beach with plenty of picnic areas. The park has good views of the ocean and some area in which to toss a frisbee or football or fly a kite. Of course, the reason I went was to go see the Mukilteo Lighthouse which is on the grounds there. The lighthouse was built in 1905 and is still functional. There are tours available as well.
