Peacocks rule the roost at Castle Howard
by SallyM

Castle Howard was used as the location for the 1980s television version of Brideshead Revisited. As well as admiring Vanbrugh's architecture, you can also see a small exhibition about the filming. Apparently the house teddy bear was very disappointed not to get the role of Aloyisius.

There is a good tea room, but watch out that you don't get mugged by the peacocks - if you thought ducks could be hungry, you ain't seen nothing yet!
