Mekong: "Vietnamese Food in Dresden" Dresden Restaurant Tip by King_Golo

Dresden Restaurants: 134 reviews and 358 photos

Mekong is a big river in South East Asia - and a small restaurant in Dresden-Neustadt! We stumbled upon it accidentally looking for some place to eat. It looked nice from the outside, but two guys blocked the entrance and we couldn't get in... After walking around the block for one more time, the guys were gone and we could eventually enter. The place is pretty small and comes up with a weird decoration of Vietnamese and German elements. But it has a great Pho (noodle soup) and you can sit outside in a little backyard.

Favorite Dish: Pho Bo was good, almost as in Vietnam itself

Address: Alaunstrasse
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Alaunstrasse is found in Dresden-Neustadt. I couldn't find a number, so I can only guess that it's probably number 10 or 12
Price: less than US$10
Rating: 4
Theme: Pan-Asian and Pacific Rim

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
