The Keg - Stadium, Calgary: 2 reviews and 1 photos
On our first night in town during our 2006 trip, we had some troubles with our luggage at the airport which delayed our hotel check-in time. By then, we did not really feel like any major drives in downtown Calgary, so asked our daughter and her boyfriend to meet us at the Stadium Keg for dinner, since it was just a block or so down the street from our Holiday Inn Express lodgings. We have eaten at more than one Keg in the past, and their food is always good, if a little on the expensive side! This one was quite busy by the time we all arrived, but our wait was not too long before we were ushered into the dining room.
Favorite Dish: I decided to start the trip off with something having interesting flavours, and I was not dissapointed with my Creole Chicken dish. This consisted of very tender strips of chicken, along with scallops and shrimp served in a very nice white sauce, along with a Garden Salad & House Dressing. Sue equally enjoyed her Chicken Florentine while the others had a Chicken Fajita and a great looking 8-oz Steak. Along with a few other extras and some wine for drinks, the total cost for four came to C$150 (US$133) including the tip.
