It's well worth making the journey out west to Casa Mingo! This is an Asturian restaurant whose speciality is roast chicken. And delicious it is too. They also serve their own home made cider which goes really well with the food. The restaurant is like a traditional beer hall and it's a very popular place with the locals. It took us a long time to walk across to Casa Mingo from the Museum of the Americas but it felt worth it once we tasted the lovely food. This area of Madrid is not very touristy so it would be very easy to miss this restaurant.
