"Gondolas" Gondola Tip by Applelyn

Gondola, Venice: 166 reviews and 273 photos

It is very expensive. One person is 100 Euros. If you go in a group, it may be cheaper. But if you had spend so much to fly there, sometimes you fall into the trap of "Since I may not be back, why dont I take a ride in it?" Going through bridges, scraping barely under it during high tides is a"scary" experience. The Gondolas are made with one side longer than the other so that it can tilt slightly to avoid scraping the bottom of the bridges. You can easily catch any man in a hat and striped shirts calling out for customers and they are "very united" in prices:)

Directions: Along the river near Saint Marco's Square
