Favorite thing: Afternoon and early evening it is fine- food coffee, street entertainment, Temple Bar is excellent.
But-
By 9 or 10pm its getting drunk, and rough, and full. And Smelly. Really smelly. Now this is not something you often see about a place, (except maybe Hong Kong), but by late evening the bars in Temple Bar stink. Rowdy energetic drinkers who have been on the go for hours now need a shower, badly. Add to this the unfortunate combination of burgers and pints (Beef and Guinness) to add a worse aroma. And with the workplace smoking ban, there is nothing to cover it up. Crowded pubs of sweaty beef eaters.
Oh how lovely. We are so proud.
So no matter how impressed you were initially, when you leave you will hate it.
