"Sofiankatu" Helsingin Kaupunginmuseo (City Museum) Tip by Sjalen

Belonging to the Helsinki City Museum, the Sofia Street is an open air museum in the form of the most obvious street leading between the Market and Senate squares. Here you will find an old telephone box, street pavings the way they used to look and many more little details such as this old street sign in Swedish, Finnish and Russian. The City museum has many other things to see in its collections such as the story of Helsinki, a tram museum, a power station, a workers house and a borgeouise house to name just a few but as I haven't yet seen them I cannot comment. Their website below will tell you a lot though.

Address: Sofiankatu
Directions: Between the two squares mentioned.
