Los Amigos: "Try the Peruvian dishes" Los Amigos Tip by makiro

Los Amigos, Baltimore: 1 reviews and 0 photos

I like this local Mexican restaurant for a cheap meal with friends. The restaurant has a quite large dining room, with three little alcoves for couples to have a more intimate setting. The place is decorated with the typical mexican stuff, and usually they have the tv on with mexican soap operas or videos. The family is from Peru, so I like to try their Peruvian dishes. The owners are friendly, always greeting you when you enter and leave.

Favorite Dish: Favorite Dish: They have six vegetarian combination platters all under $8. The Ceviche Mexto (fresh fish, shell fish, squid, lemon juice, chiles, cilantro carlic, onions and sweet potato) is a popular large appetizer and has won local best appetizer awards. I also like the Chupe de Camarones, a peruvian soup with fish broth with shrimp, rice, etts, milk and spices. I like the vegetarian potato burrito but depending on the chef it goes from chopped chunks of potato to mashed potato. The margaritas and sangria are popular.
