B&B Borgo al Cornio: "Nice stay in Prato" Italy Hotel Tip by codrutz

Borgo al Cornio is a nice bed and breakfast owned by a family (man, wife and their son), lovely people, small but very nice and practical room, with a good system of air conditioning (integrated system, not the wall type), a large bathroom with a pretty comfortable shower. The area is not noisy - that is if Italy doesn't win a football game in the world cup :) The breakfast is rather "skinny" to my taste - from here southwards the breakfast - prima colazione, is very simple, basically something sweet, bread, fruits and coffee - nothing salty (if you need bring your own cheese) :) The train station - Porta Seraglio - is 10-15 minutes walk away, and you can take the train to Florence (30 minutes). Parking is done with a ticket given by the owners and you can park on every street around a few blocks in the white spaces (not the blue or yellow ones). Overall I would recommend this accommodation to stay for Prato or even Florence as we did. The nice family there and the nice room are a plus - I would clasify it to three stars accommodation. And their price is unbelievable for Italy - we payed 50eur/night/room (the standard price is 60eur/night/room).

Price Comparison: least expensive
Price: US$20-40
