LIMA started in 1991 and since then it has become an important event held in Langkawi. The most recent LIMA was hosted in 2005. Participations comes many countries inc. USA and even Russia. Lots of military gadgets being displayed here where the Aerospace Exhibition is near the Langkawi International Airport and the Maritime is being shown at Porto Malai. This exhibition is not meant only for military gadgets, planes or ships but also showing commercial purposes gadgets related to Aerospace & Maritime.

I had the opportunity to visit LIMA for a few times since my first visit in 1993. And the most interesting moment about this show is watching the airshows inc. the Red Arrows from UK and we can even buy lots of military related badges from the soldiers/officers themself.

It is an event not to be missed. If you are planning visit this exhibition, I suggest arrangement should be made earlier to avoid fullhouse booking on hotel and flight.
