"Tahitian Dancing" Top 5 Page for this destination New Caledonia Nightlife Tip by hunwagner
New Caledonia Nightlife: 4 reviews and 2 photos
Several upmarket hotels in New Caledonia offer Tahitian dance shows to their guests.
This is actually somewhat strange considering that native Kanak dances are not shown off to visitors in the same way.
I guess hotels know that "sexy" Taihitian girls with their "erotic" dancing have a much higher entertainment value, and also fit the "South Pacific Paradise" image visitors to Oceania have been fed before coming here than Melanesians.
In any case, Tahitian dancing is indeed good fun - be prepared to be dragged up by the girls to join in towards the end of it! ;-)
