I've fallen in love with this sport. Indeed, the t-shirts they sell at the school read: "Forget the Fear, Worry About the Addiction" and it's so true! 2 hours sessions are offered throughout the day at this lower west side location and are suitable for beginners right up to professionals. You simply line up and wait your turn to fly, demonstrating your talents, or lack thereof, in front of a friendly and supportive audience.

Equipment: Comfortable "flying" clothes are best.

Directions: Hudson River Park in lower West side Manhattan below Canal on West Street between piers 34 and 26.
