In a 3km stretch along the highway in Bilar is the man-made forest. This poject was started in the 1960s. Mahogany seelings were planted in an area of over 800 hectares, in the towns of Bilar and Loboc.

You can pass by the man-made forest on the way to The Chocolate Hills in Carmen. Just make a quick stopover and experience the tree canopied highway. It's a cool place. :)
