Ping Pong: "Posh Dim Sum" Ping Pong Tip by Cham

Ping Pong, London: 5 reviews and 13 photos

Ping pong is a Dim Sum bar with communal seating. The restuarant has a very modern feel to it, but retains a far eastern air to it. The service can really vary here, I haven't had a bad experience but a few of my friends have said that it can be very slow etc.

The food is good, I wouldn't say it was the best chinese place in london by a long way, but because of the atmosphere and the tea (see below) it's great for when you've been shopping on oxford or regent st and don't want to have to go all the way to china town.

There is no need to book at this restaurant which makes it great as long as it's not too busy.

Favorite Dish: Jasmine tea

Even if you don't like this stuff just get one to see what they do to it. I've seen it many times in different places around the world but i still love it.

Instead of the usual green tea and jasmine leaves they give you a cup with a round bulb in the bottom, you pour hot water on it and as it rises and gains water it opens up into a flower and flavours the tea
