Doyers Vietnamese Restaurant: "The Best Vietnamese In Town" Doyer's - CLOSED Tip by kucha

Doyer's - CLOSED, New York City: 2 reviews and 1 photos

I first went here nearly 20 years ago and remember thinking: "where the heck am I going." In fact, I had never been to this odd portion of the city (not quite Chinatown, not quite Wall Street and stuck in the shadows of city hall), but learned that it was a sort of Little Vietnam, for what that was worth!

Formerly called Vietnam, Doyers Vietnamese Restaurant is located in the basement of an old building on a narrow street in Chinatown. If you can find it, the restaurant is well worth going to for its soups and other spicy entrees!
