Bar Jamon: "Authentic in just about every aspect" Bar Jamón Tip by garridogal

Bar Jamon is like having a tapas bar from Spain, uprooted and dropped into the Union Square neighborhood, and then modernized in it's decor. I used to live in Spain so I know my tapas and this place is authentic.

Our bartender/waiter was a Spaniard who looks like Armande Assante and sounds like Antonio Banderas. I kept wanting him to say "Nasonex".

I will definately go back to El Jamon on future visits.

Favorite Dish: We had the Jamon Serrano, Queso Manchego - which was served with Membrillo - and Olives. Everything was absolutely delicious and I'm kinda drooling just thinking about it all now!

There are lots of wonderful Spanish wines to choose from as well.
