"Korean Folk Village" South Korea Things to Do Tip by mmje

South Korea Things to Do: 366 reviews and 527 photos

If you are wondering whether to go to the Korean Folk Village on a rainy day, you might want to rethink your plans. Being an outdoor venue, the place turns into a giant mudpit and all the performances get cancelled. It's still interesting, but it would be MUCH better to go on a day when it is not raining.

Also, there are three different entry charges depending on what you want to do while you are there. We opted for the middle choice, which included entry to the Folk Museum (wisely deciding not to try the amusement park--the most expensive option--in the rain). The Korean Village Folk Museum was terrific, and very different from the Folk Museum in Seoul.
