Harvey's is a staple in the Lake Tahoe area ...... but is now owned by Harrah's coporation which also owns the casino/hotel across the street! There is a tunnel between the two hotels that passes beneath the street and has a dance club called Cabo Wabo smack dab in the middle .... so you can stop off for a drink as you wander between the two places :)

The casino is a typical casino and easy to get a little turned around in. There's a Hard Rock Cafe, several restaurants, and the usual amenities. But even our simple room on the 9th floor had an amazing view of the lake .......

Unique Qualities: The views, and the beds make this place stand out in my mind. The linens were soft, exceptionally clean, and so comfy I would drop off within minutes of tucking myself in :) As a matter of fact, all four of us in this room had a hard time getting out of bed as it just enveloped us in relaxation ... since we spent so much time lounging in bed whenever we entered out room, I never got around to snapping a picture ..... so sorry :)
