"Jewish cemetery (the newer one)" New Jewish Cemetery - Kazimierz Tip by Raimix

The cementery was established in 1800, when another (older) cemetery havent had enough place. This new cemetery is still used at the moment and is for Jewish population of Krakow. But there are lot sof old tombs, some of them are fallen, some of them look very near each other, so it makes very special atmosphere when being here.

Look at the second pivture of this tip - I dont understand how people were buried in such style, can you explain me?

Address: Miodova street
Directions: Kazimierz quarter, near small tunnel.
