Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco: 249 reviews and 410 photos

A world famous landmark and the emblem of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge is an impressive structure that was completed in 1937. During that time, it was the world's longest and tallest suspension bridge. Today, it's the world's third largest single-span bridge. The bridge has several lanes for vehicles and a pedestrian-friendly walkway. A walk across the bridge is a definite must do and if possible, cross the bridge by car into Marin County for fantastic views of the bay and the bridge.

Address: Northwestern Tip of San Francisco Peninsula
Directions: The bridge is Highway 101's link from San Francisco to the counties North.
