The V&A in South Kensington exhibits artefacts from Asia and Europe and the Middle East and has displays of materials - eg ceramics, silverware, musical instruments and sculpture. Check out the Trajan towers from Rome - Impressive!! Throughout the year they hold special events. On a hot summer's day, we saw the Cuba Afrique musical event in the John Madejski Garden - great fun! Especially when a latin american tourist got up and started to Salsa! - and Oh My Gosh! could she ever dance!
I think the V&A has one of the best Museum Shops in London - you will be spoilt for choice, from the items on offer, which include books, toys, jewellery, textiles and cards.
