Called the most beautiful lake in the world, it lives up to its name. Pictures say it all. Surrounded by volcanoes. From Guatemala City it a few hour drive. If you are a first timer to Guatemala you will need to get a tourguide. Directions: Santiago Atitlan , is located across Atitlan from Panahachel. You'll need to get across by boat.
There is a beutiful church, market.
Note: If you are a first timer to Guatemala, you will NOT be able to do this trip on your own. No excuses.
