Yerevan Things to Do: 105 reviews and 265 photos
The State Museum of Armenian History is a very nice museum by the Republic Square. Here you can admire beautiful carpets and Urartian pottery and other items from different eras of Armenian history. Unfortunatly there are no labels in English, but on the labels it is written in Roman numbers from which period the item comes. The only English text I found on the first floor was by the model of Zvartnots Chatedral, but on the second floor there are texts describing differnt eras.
Entrance fee is 800 drams (June 2006).
The museum is closed on Mondays.
You are not allowed to take photos inside.
