Not sure if these are a good thing or a bad thing. Sure they are environmentally sound, but they dom't do too much for the scenery.
These seven huge windmills just appeared between my last two visits to the Banff area. Thay are not fully up and running as I write, so there may be a noise issue later - we shall see.

Near Boyndie, between Banff and Portsoy.
