Faneuil Hall incorporates several different marketplaces with a vast range of both formal and casual eateries and definitely has something for everyone. On a sunny Saturday lunchtime the place was packed but with so many outlets queues were pretty minimal and getting a takeaway from the stalls in Quincy market was swift, efficient and relatively inexpensive.

Favorite Dish: Much like the Buffalo Wings in Buffalo, everyone has a different opinion of where to get the best Clam Chowdah in Boston. Unfortunately, despite the fact that I actually spent a total of 4 nights in Boston I actually only had 1 full day and so didn?t have a chance to search for the ultimate ?Chowdah? - but hey, that?s a good excuse for a revisit!!!

The one I did manage was a takeaway from the stall here in Faneuil Hall which at about $3.50 for a large bowl (OK read ?polystyrene cup? for ?bowl?) was really tasty - chunky, creamy and with plenty of meaty clams. For a mass-produced product there was nothing wrong with this whatsoever and it made for an ideal park lunch with its little cellophane bag of crackers. The only minor complaint was that they didn?t sell beer to go!
