WWCCA is an organization that is dedicated to wildlife, land and forest conservation.
They also have a terrific gun club!
The WWCCA is members-only, but on Saturdays and Sundays they allow the public to use their shotgun ranges.
So if you like to occassionally shoot trap, skeet, five-station, or wobble, they will let you do that on weekends, without becoming a member.
The fee is reasonable, $6 per line, if you bring your own target load shotgun shells, they also have 12 and 20 gauge ammo for sale at the club at competitive prices.
The clubhouse is very comfy and has a full bar, only to be used after shooting!
To join the club one must be sponsored in by a current member in good standing, but if one uses the range a few times and talks to one or several of the members, I don't think one would have a very difficult time finding a sponsor.
This is a very friendly and welcoming club. If you don't want to use the facilities for shooting, it is available for rent for parties, receptions, etc.
I only discovered this place because of a fund-raiser I attended recently that was held there, and was very impressed with the facilities, staff and members.
This organization is affiliated with the Michigan United Conservation Clubs and the National Rifle Association. To become a member of this club you must also be an NRA member and maintain that membership.
