"Room Service on boat!" The Access Resort & Spa Tip by chatterley

This is a fairly new hotel (they opened a few months ago), with 80 rooms. All rooms have direct access to the pool, and the room service is delivered to you on a boat. The room is very clean and bright, bed is king-sized. Decorations are pretty, in a modern Thai style. The usual amenities are provided: hairdryer, mini-bar, safe deposit, coffee and tea making facilities, etc. The bathroom has a large window, and you can open it up when you are soaking in the bathtub - so that you can watch TV!

As we visited Phuket in the low season (monsoon season), the price is low. We paid $100 Singapore dollars per night (inclusive of breakfast). However, this being a small hotel (only 80 rooms, compared to those with hundreds of rooms), you can't expect much variety in their breakfast selection.

Another thing to note is that it is situated on the hills, so you won't be able to see the sea from the hotel. It is also NOT directly situated on the Karon Beach. However, the hotel does provide a daily shuttle service to Karon Beach and Phuket Town.

Unique Qualities: Great service by staff! They offered to pack our breakfast in boxes on the last day, as we had to catch an early flight and thus had to miss the breakfast buffet.
