A must-see for birders, but also a great place for families and anyone interested in birds/wildlife. The banders will demonstrate the banding process in the lab for curious visitors. A walk through the lot will introduce you to the method of capturing the birds (mist nets and ground traps), and you'll likely see an extraction or two of birds from the nets. A great opportunity to see some beautiful birds close up. Please be respectful, however, and do not touch any of the birds or nets! Phone to find out when the Migration season is to avoid disappointment.

Volunteers are always appreciated. Information can be found on their website. It's a fantastic opportunity to gain banding and field experience!
