Lounge: "Laid Back And Unpretentious Gastro Pub" Bristol Nightlife Tip by marilynmondoe

Bristol Nightlife: 49 reviews and 44 photos

The Lounge is a great place for a drink. And you can also eat really well if the need takes you.

Parents who still need to be 'out there' should bring the kids (a no smoking area before 5pm) Kids are welcome which is wonderful if like me you miss going to 'normal' fashionable bars since the kids have been born.

The food is great because you can either nibble on pistachios and beer nuts, move on to hummous and bread. Or go the whole hog and have homemade burgers or great salads and pasta dishes.

They do great fresh smoothies for the non alcoholics or kids!

They also offer an array of games to keep the young adults or kids entertained.

The Lounge have seemed to get just the right mix of kiddy friendly and glamour - Very laid back and very reminiscent of fabulous London pubs that I'm used to.
