The place I enjoyed mostly was the area and services staked out on the beach by Holy Pub. Not very distinct from the other places here at the Sauraha beach part, but I took a liking to the no-nonsense service and good people at this place. They could read you well and know when to end a friendly conversation.
Very funny drinks here, but as I am not really into cocktails and local whisky/brandy with weird things in it, stayed off the stuff. But for the more adventurous this is the place to get drunk on Rhinos's gall and what not (just the name, though). Occasionally I feel like having a stiff Bloody Marry, though! I had decent beer and various non-meat snacks here while watching the sunset three days in a row, while having dinner at the Fewa Wildlife Resort.
