The Holy House of Mercy was established in 1569. It is the oldest social institution in Macau.
On display are oil paintings, ancient manuscripts, a bronze bell, ivory statues and religious artifacts and Chinese, Japanese and European porcelain pieces.
The entrance to the museum is y the side lane just opposite Watson.
Nearby attractions are the Na Tcha Temple, Ruin of St. Paul, Lou Kau Mansion, Cathedral, St. Dominic Church and Leal Senado Building.
Opens from 1000 to 1300; 1430 to 1730. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
