It is a modern hotel with suites, rooms and bungalows. There are conference rooms, and a wedding chapel in the grounds. There is a half-Olympic –size pool, an indoor heated pool, and a shallow round pool for children , and two pools with water slide and play equipment for children; as well as the beach, which is very shallow within the rocky breakwaters.
In spite of some criticism from other vt-ers we found the hotel satisfactory. There were perhaps more of the older Saga age group, but the young adults and children were also well represented.. Nobody complained when they ran around and squealed.
One of the receptionists was rather dour , but other staff were efficient and friendly, especially Zachroula who always had a welcome and a smile on her face.
The rooms were clean and if lights or AC had problems , a Mister Fix-it was on duty to solve the problem..
There were no lifeguards at the pools, but a notice giving basic rules was there; and a friendly man came to help put in or up umbrellas and get mats for the sun-beds.
Perhaps the only complaint would be that the restaurant service stopped at 10pm, though room service was available 24 hours.

Adverse comments about neighbouring factories were unjustified. There had been refineries for oil and gas but most of these were no longer functioning and are due to be removed to make new resorts. They were hardly obtrusive! And as for the tankers and container ships, they were interesting to watch. Remember even the Garden of Eden had a snake!
