The Slovenian Philharmonic Building is one of the architectural gems around Kongresni Trg. It was built in 1701 and is so one of the oldest buildings of its kind. The Philharmonic Orchestra has a long tradition with such famous honorary members like Ludwig van Beethoven.

Once a pure rococo building, it was destryoed by a fire in 1887 and rebuilt again. Some smaller changes took place under Joze Plecnik in 1937. In 2001, it was refurbished again.

Address: Kongresni Trg
Directions: At the southeastern part of Kongresni Trg in front of a parking lot.
