"Princes Avenue / Newland Avenue" Top 5 Page for this destination Kingston upon Hull Off The Beaten Path Tip by Britannia2

Kingston upon Hull Off The Beaten Path: 38 reviews and 46 photos

Take a number 5 bus from the centre to Princes Avenue - about 10 minutes - this is a trendy area for coffee shops and interesting shops such as ethnic grocers, antique shops, book shops and some good pubs.
Continue up Princes Avenue and bear left after Pearson Park in to Newland Avenue for more interesting shops, pubs and coffee shops.
If you are coming to Hull University this area is the hub of student life.
Hulls best restaurants are on these streets (see my many reviews) - city centre tax is 40% and it only 10% in the suburbs and this is why you can find fine dining on these two Avenues.
