it is reasonably affordable to find your way around in any city in Andalucia. they are walkable really and easy to access.
- Marbella, it exactly takes 15 minutes walking from Marbella bus station to the city center. just go down straight and you'll find yourself in the center. Marbella is very small and quite walkable.
- Granada, from the main bus station, just take the bus 31 directly either to Alhambra palace or city center. it takes 15-20 min by bus.
- Malaga, the main bus station is already in the city center. From there, you can walk to the coast for 30-45 minutes.

All one-way journeys only cost ?1 and this is enough to give you a tour around the city.
Season tickets are usually available in big cities like Granada but I haven't used them as i only stayed over a weekend.

Bus service is usually reduced on Sundays and may run at a later starting hour than weekdays. when i wanted to catch the bus to the central bus station in Marbella, i found out that my bus did not run on Sunday, but i figured my way out and caught another one.
