From the entrance to the Acropolis, the Agora is just a few minutes walking distance. The highlight of the Agora is the Temple of Hephaesteus (the Thesion aka Hephaesteion), an amazingly well preserved temple. Other must sees include the relatively recent Agias Apostoli, and the Roman ruins including the Odeon of Agrippa, the Agora itself, the headless statue of Hadrian etc. Also not to be missed is the Stoa of Attalos (now the museum).

Directions: Down hill from the Acropolis (to the west).
