There are two shopping centres in Norwich city centre - the old one is Castle Mall which
has been rebranded "The Mall" in a bid to market itself against the new competition - Chapelfield Shopping Centre. Both has a range of shops but Chapelfield has the edge over Castle Mall in terms of women's clothes. Tony has asked me to point out that I,
his girlfriend, (not his cross-dressing shopping obsessed alter-ego) am the author of this tip.

Chapelfield has Mango, Zara, French Connection, Monsoon, USC, H&M, and House of Fraser among other shops. There is also a Hotel Chocolat for all your expensive chocolate needs! I'm told that Chapelfield is boring for men as there's not a lot of choice in men's clothes and no intersting gadget shops.

Also has a Borders bookshop with cafe.

The Mall has a Jane Norman, La Sensa, Bay Trading, a craft shop, a Tea Junction (selling an amazing range of teas and coffees), and a Norwich Football Club shop.

There are lots of other shops in the city too, so don't spend all day in shopping centres (unless it is raining!)
