After almost 5-6 hours driving, we arrived at the Baynanbulak town. The town only has 3 months time without snow. All the roads and normal residence are made of mud which is hardly to see in the eastern china countryside. But new hotels are being built so I think the Bayanbulak is becoming popular as tourist attraction. We walked down to the muddy road to buy a watermelon which tastes very good. Unlike the majority part of China, we were told that the local here doesn't like bargining.

If you visit that place, be sure to bring enough clothing since it is cold at night even in August. The hotel we lived in didn't turn on the heater until it is completely dark and before that I had to put all my clothings on. My mother insist to take a bath at the hotel and later she told me the tub was moving when she took the bath. :-) Generally speaking it is still a decent hotel to stay.
