Das Feuerschiff is one of my favorite places to eat in Hamburg , simply because I like that special "sailors-atmosphere" there. This ship was designed in a really perfect way from a swimming light-tower (read more about it at my "must-see-tips") to a cosy and romantic bar and restaurant. See my pictures, the architecture combined some of the ship-machines for the bar & seats...

The Feuership is open to the public free of charge
every sunday they offer a breakfast-buffet between 09.30a.m. and 01.00p.m.
in the engine-room there is a Jazz-Frühschoppen 11.00a.m.-02.30p.m.
The restaurant is open for lunch & dinner between noon and 10.00p.m.

Favorite Dish: I had a great home-made cake and a cup of coffee, the price was 4 Euros, that is not bad for that location and also for the big portions !
Terrine Fischsuppe" is another favorite dish of mine : a good protion of fish-soup with lots of vegetables and a baguette.
Buesumer Kabbensuppe is crab-soup, I have to try it next time !
