"A walk in the past" Ancient Agora Tip by OiKnow

Ancient Agora, Athens: 117 reviews and 203 photos

The ancient agora was the market, meeting, social and political center of the old city. It is located in the shadow of Acropolis hill. The site contains uncountable archelogical remains, a very well reconstructed temple, and a small orthodoc church. I found an olive tree that was dropping ride olives and shook the tree and watched the olives rain down. Admission is included on the 12 euro acopolis package ticket.
