"Flying" Kotor Transportation Tip by Rusket

April 2005 I flew to / from Dubrovnik Airport Cilipi. There was no airshuttle towards Montenegro, I shared a taxi to the border with another passanger at a cost of 30 Euros. Taxi to Herceg Novi is appr. 40 Euro, and from Herceg Novi there are buses / minibuses all the time. 2006 I spent a couple of nights in Cavtat before departure, and paid 10 Euros for transportation from there to Cilipi.

There is now a scheduled bus transfer from Cilipi to Montenegro, at least in the tourist season, but I cannot find the schedule anywhere ;-/ The phone number below is an info phone at Cilipi Airport.

The closest airport to Kotor is Tivat, on the other side of the peninsula Vrmac. There are buses / minibuses trafficing the 10 km at irregular intervalls. I would guess a taxi would cost appr. 15 Euros.
