"Dual Pricing" Russia Favorite Tip by JohnniOmani

Russia General: 192 reviews and 175 photos

Favorite thing: Although dual pricing is not as bad as in the past it is still noticable in Russia. Foreigners always pay double the Russian rate. Hotels and museums always have a higher rate. It is often fair game for taxi drivers and in the markets and bargaining and prices depend on your Russian skills. Museums charge about 10 times the price of a local so expect to pay a lot ot enter and take photos.
