"Alcazar Palace - Moorish Masterpiece?" Alcazar Tip by sandysmith

Alcazar, Sevilla: 134 reviews and 307 photos

Ok so you might not be into museums or our equivalent of stately homes but really the Alcazar fortress should not be missed - we really enjoyed our visit here, well worth 7.5 euros entrance fee and audio guides are an optional extra. The Leon gate in Plaza del Triunfo is where you enter buts its nothing to what you'll see inside. This Royal residence is not just one place but rather a collection of palaces. Its quite similar to the Al Hambra Palace in Granada I thought.- perhaps I preferred it as I wasn't in a tour and could wander at will. Lots of detail inside to keeep photo enthusiasts happy ;-0 Please see the travelogue too for more pics :-0
