Yorkshire Dales National Park Things to Do: 87 reviews and 212 photos
A picturesque little village in the south part of the Yorkshire Dales, Malham is a magnet for walkers, hikers, climbers, birdwatchers etc due to the proximity of natural attractions like Gordale Scar, Malham Cove, Malham Tarn and Janet?s Foss (see separate tips).
The stream Malham Beck flows through the village and many walks start from here. The village pub ?The Buck Inn? and a couple of cafes take care of food and drink requirements and next to the ?pay and display? car park there?s a Visitor Centre with lots of information ? however, Malham is sure to be extremely busy at holiday times so if you can go at a quieter time then do so.
Directions: Malham is between Settle and Skipton ? if you are on the A65, you need to take minor roads north from either Hellifield or Gargrave.
