"mesa southwest museum" Mesa Things to Do Tip by bocmaxima

Mesa Things to Do: 73 reviews and 174 photos

This is certainly one of the better museums in the Phoenix area. It's got things for kids and for adults, and takes at least two hours to completely see.
There are some prehistoric and dinosaur exhibits, an extensive Arizona Native American exhibit, an Arizona geology exhibit and, when I was there, a photography exhibit displaying some shots from the Arizona Highways magazine.
We actually had to rush through the last portion of the museum because we ran out of time. Like I said, allot at least two hours for this museum, if not three.
$8 for adults, $4 for children. The museum is closed on Mondays and government holidays.
